Placing an Order

This document explains how to place an order with Hekla Power Ltd and outlines the available payment and finance options. All orders are subject to Hekla Power Ltd’s Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1. How to Place an Order
Orders should be placed in writing by email or official purchase order and must quote the relevant quotation reference number. Orders should clearly confirm the specification, quantities, delivery address, and any agreed lead times.
No contract shall be formed until Hekla Power Ltd has issued written acceptance of the order, an order acknowledgement, or an invoice.
2. Information Required with an Order
To ensure prompt processing, orders should include:
– Company name and registered address
– Delivery address (if different)
– Purchase order number (if applicable)
– Quotation reference
– Contact name, email address, and telephone number
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate where applicable.
4. Payment Options
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of order and may include one or more of the following:
– Proforma payment prior to manufacture or dispatch
– Payment on account for approved credit customers
– Other payment terms expressly agreed in writing
5. Finance Options
Subject to status, eligibility, and approval, finance options may be available for certain orders. Finance is provided by third-party finance providers and is subject to their own separate terms and conditions.
Where finance is used:
– Finance approval must be confirmed before production begins
– Hekla Power Ltd does not provide regulated financial or credit advice
– The finance agreement is separate from the supply contract with Hekla Power Ltd
6. Delivery and Lead Times
Any delivery dates provided are estimates only unless expressly agreed in writing. Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery or collection, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
7. Amendments and Cancellations
Orders for bespoke or made-to-order goods may not be cancelled or amended once production has commenced, except by written agreement. Charges may apply to reflect work undertaken and materials ordered.
